Eden Callows is a devoted follower of Salem. Like her twin sister, Robs, she does not have many early memories, only truly able to recollect things when she was around 9 years old. Upon meeting her older brother, Tyrian Callows, when he arrived at Evernight, he trained Eden alongside Robs and turned them into deadly tools for Her Grace’s revenge. Upon unlocking her semblance, Sensory Overclock, which boosts all of Eden’s senses other than sight, Eden was Phantom Herald directly from Her Grace. When they were old enough, Eden and Robs were enrolled in Beacon Academy under the pseudonyms Robin Baird and Edith Liadan. During the trials, they were separated and put on different teams. While Robin was put on Team BRKN (Bracken), Edith was placed on Team AICE (Ice). She was indifferent towards all of her teammates. One day, during a training session in the Emerald Forest, AICE found themselves surrounded by an abnormally large amount of Grimm. Edith was the sole survivor, and she returned to her empty dorm to rest. Upon waking up, she found herself restrained in cuffs somewhere in a warehouse in downtown Vale. She was able to deduce that her kidnappers were relatives of her deceased teammates, exacting revenge for her ineptitude. Eden’s tail was severed from her body and she was brutally tortured. By dislocating her thumbs, Eden was able to slip free of her cuffs and kill her assailants one by one before collapsing in a pool of blood. The last thing she remembers is seeing the silhouette of Tyrian approaching her. She spent a few months recuperating at Evernight before returning to Beacon and being assigned as a fill-in should a new team need a replacement. Not allowed out on her own, Eden used her time between classes to scout and send information back to Salem as was necessary. She was extracted along with Robs shortly after the Fall. Upon their return, Eden was praised for keeping to her mission and was awarded the position of Salem’s Herald, Her messenger, to which she graciously accepted.
